Es­to­nian cy­ber-de­fence ex­perts share knowl­edge with Sin­ga­pore col­leagues

The Es­to­nian Min­istry of De­fence has pro­vided cy­berse­cu­rity train­ing and a cy­ber range ex­er­cise to mil­i­tary cy­ber ex­perts in Sin­ga­pore’s Min­istry of De­fence and Armed Forces.

Es­to­nian Min­istry of De­fence re­ported on Mon­day, May 28, that the train­ing was held by the Es­to­nian De­fence Forces Cy­ber Range in the South-East Asian coun­try, at its Cy­ber De­fence Test and Eval­u­a­tion Cen­tre.

A rep­re­sen­ta­tive of the Cy­ber De­fence Group of the Sin­ga­pore Armed Forces, mil­i­tary ex­pert Der­ick Ang eval­u­ated: «The cy­ber de­fence train­ing has pro­vided par­tic­i­pants from the Min­istry of De­fence and the SAF with key con­cepts on cy­ber de­fence tech­niques and per­spec­tives, al­low­ing us to bet­ter re­spond to po­ten­tial cy­ber threats. The train­ing in­cluded hands-on prac­ti­cal ses­sions which made learn­ing en­gag­ing and interactive».

The Es­to­nian De­fence Min­istry added that the Es­to­nian mil­i­tary has ben­e­fited it­self from train­ing ex­er­cises by ex­pand­ing its cy­ber de­fence ca­pa­bil­ity and by pro­mot­ing busi­ness con­tacts.
