Estonian cyber-defence experts share knowledge with Singapore colleagues
The Estonian Ministry of Defence has provided cybersecurity training and a cyber range exercise to military cyber experts in Singapore’s Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces.
Estonian Ministry of Defence reported on Monday, May 28, that the training was held by the Estonian Defence Forces Cyber Range in the South-East Asian country, at its Cyber Defence Test and Evaluation Centre.
A representative of the Cyber Defence Group of the Singapore Armed Forces, military expert Derick Ang evaluated: «The cyber defence training has provided participants from the Ministry of Defence and the SAF with key concepts on cyber defence techniques and perspectives, allowing us to better respond to potential cyber threats. The training included hands-on practical sessions which made learning engaging and interactive».
The Estonian Defence Ministry added that the Estonian military has benefited itself from training exercises by expanding its cyber defence capability and by promoting business contacts.
