airBaltic decides to increase permitted cabin baggage size
Latvia’s national airBaltic airline announces plans to increase permitted size of cabin baggage. From 1 August onward, permitted cabin baggage size for airBaltic flights will be 55x40x23 cm, as reported by the company.
«This is a major step in our strategy to help improve passengers’ flight experience,» comments airBaltic CEO Martin Gauss.
The airline believes new approved sizes for cabin baggage are among the most popular sizes among airBaltic’s global partners. «The same sizes for cabin baggage are used by airlines line Air France, KLM and Alitalia.»
Passengers using airBaltic travel services are permitted to carry with them cabin baggage (55x40x23 cm) and one personal item (30x40x10 cm). The total weight of cabin baggage and personal items is not allowed to exceed 8 kg when travelling with Basic or Premium tickets.
