Es­to­nia, short of IT spe­cial­ists, look­ing for pro­fes­sion­als in UK

The in­for­ma­tion tech­nol­ogy com­pa­nies of Es­to­nia are work­ing on at­tract­ing spe­cial­ists from the UK with a forth­com­ing re­cruit­ment pro­gramme sup­ported by the Es­to­nian gov­ern­ment, Com­puter Weekly wrote.

Bri­tish IT in­dus­try news por­tal Com­put­ re­ported on Tues­day, Au­gust 22, that with the Ca­reer Hunt re­cruit­ment pro­gramme, IT pro­fes­sion­als in Bri­tain are sought af­ter as by 2020, Es­to­nian job mar­ket is ex­pected to lack 37,000 IT spe­cial­ists. Ca­reer Hunt in co­op­er­a­tion with the in­ter­na­tional job por­tal Job­bat­i­cal is invit­ing IT pro­fes­sion­als to ap­ply for jobs at com­pa­nies work­ing in the Baltic coun­try, for ex­am­ple, Tax­ify, Twilio, Mi­crosoft, Skype and Swed­bank.

A key advantage of­fered by the re­cruit­ment cam­paign is pro­vid­ing in­ter­ested spe­cial­ists to visit Es­to­nia the coun­try with all travel ex­penses cov­ered.
