With the world be­com­ing more dig­i­tal, con­nected, mo­bile and ser­vice-driven, the re­tail in­dus­try has shifted from a prod­uct-driven to a cus­tomer-cen­tric di­rec­tion. If you’ve ever or­dered a prod­uct off Ama­zon or re­served a ta­ble at your fa­vorite restau­rant on­line you know what I’m talk­ing about. Tech­nol­ogy has dis­rupted the re­tail in­dus­try, mak­ing us in­creas­ingly in­de­pen­dent through mo­bile tech­nol­ogy.

Now dig­i­tal­iza­tion is slowly mak­ing its way to the au­to­mo­tive re­tail in­dus­try. Au­tomak­ers have re­al­ized that peo­ple have be­come ac­cus­tomed to the fast-paced and con­nec­tive lifestyle. Thanks to the savings of em­ploy­ing dig­i­tal prac­tices, au­tomak­ers have started to adopt dig­i­tal­iza­tion into their strate­gies.
