Nina was born in Graz, Austria and in 2005 ventured west to Munich to study photography and hone her craft. After a dissatisfying stint as a product photographer, she turned her lens towards fashion and beauty, and has been making a name for herself ever since. Predominantly a freelancer now, the 24 year-old upand-comer takes pleasure in travelling around the world and connecting with like-minded, creative types. In this issue, she captures the carefree essence of a true down-to-earth friendship. Based in Miami, Michael spends the majority of his time around yachts, superyachts and megayachts and works as a correspondent for Yachting magazine as well as regular contributor to Superyacht Business, Robb Report, Worth and of course Bespoke. For our Hard Truth issue, Michael uncovers the harsh realities of the superyacht industry by going behind the scenes at two Italian shipyards: Tankoa, the new kid on the block, and Baglietto, the resurrected old-timer. Clearly, there’s more to yachts than glitz and glamour. She may be a seasoned writer and cross-platform content consultant but Sudeshna prefers to go by the title of experience collector due a deep-rooted love of exploring new cultures and cuisines. For her first Bespoke assignment, she left her husband and two daschunds at home in Dubai and jetted off to the Arctic, in order to chase the Northern Lights and give us the lowdown on how to get there, where to stay, how to keep warm and who to take with you to this extraordinary land of frosty ice hotels and magnificent Aurora Borealis. Warren has been living in Beirut for eighteen years now and during this time he has written a book about all the weird and wonderful things people didn’t know about his adoptive hometown as well as a selection of Wallpaper* guides to some of the world’s most intoxicating cities. As our trusted Editor-atLarge, Warren headed to the Mondrian Doha this month to discover what a veritable wonderland Marcel Wanders created. Apparently the sensory overload is such that he had to fight back the urge to skip along the corridors, giggling with glee.
