The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has promoted Mark Willis to area senior vice president for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. Willis has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including more than 15 with Carlson Rezidor. Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay has appointed Lars Pursche as the new general manager of the hotel. His most recent post was general manager at Kempinski Hotel Huizhou in Southern China, Guangdong Province.
