USD 1 bil­lion in­te­grated tourism com­plex com­ing to Oman

Quriyat De­vel­op­ment Com­pany (QDC), a joint ven­ture be­tween Omani groups Al Mad­ina Real Es­tate Com­pany and Space Gulf Com­pany, has laid the foun­da­tion stone for an in­te­grated tourism com­plex (ITC) in the sul­tanate which is worth nearly USD 1 bil­lion, ac­cord­ing to Trade Ara­bia. The tourist fa­cil­i­ties in­clude the set­ting up of 3, 4 and 5-star ho­tels hous­ing a to­tal of 750 rooms, as well as a nine-hole golf course. The project will be de­vel­oped in three stages with five years for each stage.
