Mansoufet Kolkas is a vegetarian dish prepared in many Lebanese coastal and mountain regions. Taro is the common name for the corms and tubers of the plant. Rich in fibers and natural sugars, this vegetable is easily digested and often used as baby food. Although not native to Lebanon, taro is commonly consumed in our country.
