Jad Ball­out is a firm be­liever and pro­moter of Mid­dle EasternMediter­ranean bar­tend­ing, fo­cus­ing on lo­cal and sea­sonal in­gre­di­ents to rein­vent his cul­ture in cock­tail form, with a con­tem­po­rary touch. This very vi­sion and ded­i­ca­tion in­spired him to open Cen­tral Sta­tion Bou­tique Bar in Beirut with his part­ners, where he es­tab­lished Mid­dle East­ern-mediter­ranean bar­tend­ing as the soul of the con­cept. He pi­o­neered a whole new move­ment that earned him sev­eral heavy­weight in­dus­try awards, in­clud­ing No. 26 of World’s 50 Best Bars 2016, Best Bar in Mid­dle East & Africa 2016 and Top 10 Best In­ter­na­tional High Vol­ume Cock­tail Bars by the Tales of the Cocktails 2016.
