Civiltà dei dati is the quarterly scientific and technological journal of Fondazione Leonardo Ets. It is designed for universities, students and teachers and aims to preserve the legacy of the historical journal, Civiltà delle macchine, welcoming the changes of the digital revolution. Starting from the awareness that data decides in which direction the world should go and that without them it would be impossible to digitize production, optimize processes, predict critical issues in infrastructures, outline the impacts of climate change, manage the complexity of urban and suburban fabrics, reduce energy consumption. The new editorial project of Fondazione Leonardo is an experimental tool for an approach to cross-media science dissemination, interconnected and active in involving the younger generations. Each issue explores a theme declined through different outreach channels such as documentaries, podcasts, television formats, events, in collaboration with universities, foundations and institutions.
