RADO WINS RED DOT DESIGN AWARD

Competing in the Product Design category, the Rado True Phospho was chosen from among designs submitted from 59 different countries as the award winner. It all started when Rado asked six renowned international designers to apply their individual visions to the Rado True, known to be crafted in the brand’s signature material, high-tech ceramic, under the theme of lightness and minimalism. Swiss product and asccessory design trio Big-Game created the True Phospho̶ a pared down piece in 40mm matt black high-tech ceramic with matching bracelet, featuring a perforated brass mesh dial that offers glimpses of the automatic movement, a modern approach to the traditional skeleton design. Luminescent geometric-shaped indexes are made up of holes in the mesh filled with Super-LumiNova. The timepiece comes in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces for the world, and three more for the Big-Game designers.
