Absolut threw an almighty pa y at Play Club, The Roof to celebrate its latest limited-edition vodka: Absolut Uncover. The young pa ygoers dressed fi ingly to the night’s theme, Midnight Glam, by donning masks and masquerades inspired by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famed musical The Phantom of the Opera. The night kicked off with some raucous music by DJ K3nji, DJ Q-Nara and MC Chan, supplemented by spectacular sparklers and flamethrowers. Members of the media occupied the VIP seating that overlooked the dance floor, showered with an unending supply of G.H. Mumm champagne and Absolut Uncover vodka. August Man Malaysia’s 2017 A-lister Dr Alan Tan was also in a endance. The unveiling of the Absolut Uncover took place a er midnight as the a ention shi ed to the middle of the room with choreography and laser shows. Pernod Ricard Malaysia’s representatives were invited onto the stage to officiate the launch in the most celebratory fashion. Unfo unately as the night coincided with the passing of Avicii, the crowd paid respect and tribute to the Swedish DJ known for his international hits You Make Me and Hey Brother, before the revelry resumed.
