VACHERON CONSTANTIN: THE OVERSEAS GETS A BLACK DIAL ALTERNATIVE
The launch (or facelift, if you’d like) of Vacheron Constantin’s Overseas collection back in 2016 saw the brand return to the sports luxury conversation in full force. This month, Vacheron Constantin announced, to our joy, that black dials would soon join the previous colours of blue, silver and brown for the Automatic and Chronograph versions of the Overseas. The dials will still be made in lacquer for that deep lustrous black.
It remains to be seen if the other complications in the Overseas range will be introduced in the black dial but one can imagine that the Overseas World Time or the Overseas Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar in black would make remarkably handsome timepieces. Fingers crossed that they don’t remain limited editions, of course.
