THE MIX

10ml syrup

15ml fresh lemon juice

15ml organic elderflower cordial 45ml unaged whiskey

3 sweet peas (cooked and muddled)

THE METHOD

With a rich history deeply rooted in the founding of modern America, moonshine is as significant to the US as the bewildering right to bear arms. Once illicit to produce and hounded by revenooers, moonshine has taken a more appropriate name for our times ‒ unaged whiskey. First, chill an ice stone in the fridge to be used later. Pour all liquids and peas into a shaker. Shake and strain the mixture prior to pouring it into a rock glass. Place the chilled stone into the rock glass and lastly garnish the cocktail with a leaf.
