DOLPHIN INTERACTION PROGRAMMES
Located at RWS, Dolphin Island offers a rare opportunity to meet up-close the magnificent Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins ‒ some of the most fascinating marine mammals of the oceans ‒ through a host of interactive programmes.
Book a slot for Dolphin Discovery to meet dolphins in waist-deep waters where you get to enjoy a close interaction with the aquatic mammals, as well as observe and understand their behaviour. For accompanying friends and family who wish to stay dry, opt for Dolphin Observer and enjoy lagoon-side seating with a close view of the fun.
For a more immersive experience, go for Dolphin Adventure and get into deeper waters to build a more intimate bond with these playful and elegant marine animals. You get to experience the euphoria that comes from a dolphin propelling you through the water on a bodyboard. Non-swimmers will not be left out either, as Dolphin Trek allows you to descend four metres into the lagoon
and thread on the floor wearing a wet suit and breathing in an underwater helmet as friendly dolphins come to you. Trainers and hosts are on-site to share knowledge about dolphins, their habitats, diets, anatomies and migration patterns.
SEA TREK ADVENTURE
One of the special experiences at S.E.A. Aquarium, home to more than 100,000 marine animals of over 1,000 species across 50 different habitats, Sea Trek Adventure is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that lets you experience a world bustling with thousands of marine life. Get up-close with some of the most majestic gentle giants of the sea, and stroll among colourful sea animals while manta rays glide around you.
The highlight of this hour-long programme is a 20-minute underwater helmet diving experience, allowing guests to breathe with ease as they descend atop a sea mount in the Open Ocean habitat, to stand in awe of a breath-taking panoramic view of the vibrant marine life and experience the wonders of an oceanic adventure.
SHARK ENCOUNTER
Be awed by the Shark Seas habitat at S.E.A. Aquarium, home to over 100 sharks, and brace yourself for a thrilling encounter with the apex predators of the seas. Held hourly, Shark Encounter allows guests to descend inside a cylindrical acrylic enclosure and take in a 360-degree view of Hammerhead, Silvertip and Sandbar Sharks, just to name a few, swimming around you and beneath your feet.
