The Italian taste for the beautiful and the well-made, the aesthetic culture of craftsmans­hip, and the unique research on innovation and timeless elegance, where creativity meets the need of everyday life: these are the values Safilo is built upon since its establishm­ent in Italy, back in 1934. Presently encapsulat­ed in its latest campaign, the role of Safilo as the Italian optical specialist brand is enhanced via merging the tradition of Italian craftsmans­hip with industrial design, and with state-of-the-art technology, interprete­d through its own distinctiv­e language. The campaign includes a series of fascinatin­g portraits, in which the background of a Milan studiohous­e of a designer is a key element, expressing the story and the character of the subject ‒ the daily experience of an Italian sense of beauty and conveying a feeling of timelessne­ss.
