CORTINA WATCH GOES ONLINE

For those who’ve been waiting for it, Cortina Watch has finally launched its e-commerce portal cortinawatch.online, making it the second major local watch retailer to do so after Sincere Fine Watches. According to chief operating officer Jeremy Lim, the online platform will serve mainly to complement the retailer’s core brick-and-mortar business for now. To that end, deliveries are currently limited to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, while the timepieces being offered are selected models from just five brands: Bell & Ross, Corum, Ebel,

TAG Heuer and Zenith. Nonetheless, the two will be differentiated to some extent ‒ first-time buyers on cortinawatch.online will immediately qualify for a 10 per cent discount, and online-exclusives are slated to be announced in the upcoming months. Cortina launched the portal with a party at Singapore’s Capital Club, attended by more than 300 guests.
