TOD’S unveiled its new concept boutique in Pavilion KL with a stylish in-store event that saw a host of the brand’s avid clients and social influencers come together at the beautiful new space, and the convergence of luxury and modernity. Making the occasion extra memorable was the presence of a
TOD’S a isan, specially flown in to personalise the customers’ leather accessories with hot stamping of their initials. It was a truly significant moment for The Melium Group, which introduced the iconic Italian leather label to the Malaysian market in 2005, to have the opening officiated by HRH Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom of Pahang. The royalty was joined by Dato’ Seri Dr. Farah Khan, president and founder of The Melium Group, as well as Massimo Caltagirone, TOD’S Asia-Pacific director. Spo ing all the latest accessories from the fall/winter 2018 collection were social influencers and celebrities Neelofa, Kavita Sidhu, Siti Saleha, Danielle Graham, Jane Chuck, JC Chee and Lynn Lim. From the iconic Wave Backpack and the classic Gommino – emcee Deborah Henry was spo ed wearing her very own customised #MyGommino loafers in gold – to the signature Double T logo, the brand’s contemporary, casual, Italian elegance was the prime influence of the evening. Spanning 160sqm, the new boutique boasts a linear, contemporary and elegant design, in symmetry with the brand’s image worldwide. Silver and taupe saddle-stitched leather panelled steel vitrines, suspended showcases and high-gloss ceilings with trave ine marble floors evoke luxury synonymous with both the brand and Kuala Lumpur.
