TOD’S a isan, spe­cially flown in to per­son­alise the cus­tomers’ leather ac­ces­sories with hot stamp­ing of their ini­tials. It was a truly sig­nif­i­cant mo­ment for The Melium Group, which in­tro­duced the iconic Ital­ian leather la­bel to the Malaysian mar­ket in 2005, to have the open­ing of­fi­ci­ated by HRH Sul­tanah Ha­j­jah Kal­som of Pa­hang. The roy­alty was joined by Dato’ Seri Dr. Farah Khan, pres­i­dent and founder of The Melium Group, as well as Mas­simo Cal­t­a­girone, TOD’S Asia-Pa­cific di­rec­tor. Spo ing all the lat­est ac­ces­sories from the fall/win­ter 2018 col­lec­tion were so­cial in­flu­encers and celebri­ties Neelofa, Kavita Sidhu, Siti Saleha, Danielle Gra­ham, Jane Chuck, JC Chee and Lynn Lim. From the iconic Wave Back­pack and the clas­sic Gom­mino – em­cee Deb­o­rah Henry was spo ed wear­ing her very own cus­tomised #MyGom­mino loafers in gold – to the sig­na­ture Dou­ble T logo, the brand’s con­tem­po­rary, ca­sual, Ital­ian el­e­gance was the prime in­flu­ence of the evening. Span­ning 160sqm, the new bou­tique boasts a lin­ear, con­tem­po­rary and el­e­gant de­sign, in sym­me­try with the brand’s im­age world­wide. Sil­ver and taupe sad­dle-stitched leather pan­elled steel vit­rines, sus­pended show­cases and high-gloss ceil­ings with trave ine mar­ble floors evoke lux­ury syn­ony­mous with both the brand and Kuala Lumpur.
