LET’S GO CLEANING
In 2018, Breitling announced its pa nership with Ocean Conservancy, an organisation dedicated to the global fight for a healthy ocean and clean beaches. As pa of the advocacy, the watch brand brought two members of its Su ers Squad, Stephanie Gilmore and Sally Fitzgibbons, to Singapore, along with regional media and children from the German European School Singapore to the East Coast Park, to initiate a session of public clean-up. For firsthand witness, even on a pristine Singapore beach, li ers such as washed-up plastics and discarded cigare e bu s were aplenty, proving that no area is too insignificant for ocean conservation. Hence it justified Breitling’s decision to commit its resources to promote cleaner waters for man and healthier seas for wildlife, especially in view of a brand whose heritage can be traced to the world’s oceans.
