In 2018, Breitling announced its pa nership with Ocean Conservanc­y, an organisati­on dedicated to the global fight for a healthy ocean and clean beaches. As pa of the advocacy, the watch brand brought two members of its Su ers Squad, Stephanie Gilmore and Sally Fitzgibbon­s, to Singapore, along with regional media and children from the German European School Singapore to the East Coast Park, to initiate a session of public clean-up. For firsthand witness, even on a pristine Singapore beach, li ers such as washed-up plastics and discarded cigare e bu s were aplenty, proving that no area is too insignific­ant for ocean conservati­on. Hence it justified Breitling’s decision to commit its resources to promote cleaner waters for man and healthier seas for wildlife, especially in view of a brand whose heritage can be traced to the world’s oceans.
