CHIME FOR CHANGE founded by Gucci in 2013, alongside co-founders, Salma Hayek Pinault and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter who have led the campaign with its coalition of partner organizati­ons including the Kering Foundation, Hearst Magazines, Facebook, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The launch of this new campaign, calls to the global community to unite to support gender equality. Creative Director, Alessandro Michele collaborat­es with MP5, Italian visual artist to create this new identity featuring silhouette­s of non-binary human images characteri­zed in black and white on Gucci’s Art Walls in London, Milan, New York, Taiwan, Hong Kong as well as presented On/Off, a two-part wall, at the Gucci Garden in Florence. Alongside the campaign, a short film ‘The Future is Fluid,’ by Jade Jackman and Irregular Labs was presented during the Sundance Film Festival. To further amplify and celebrate the community of global voices speaking out for gender equality and self-expression, Gucci this week published the first issue of the CHIME zine, edited by community organizer and writer Adam

Eli, featuring contributi­ons from activists, artists and writers around the world. The new CHIME FOR CHANGE website, chime.gucci.com, will host a digital version of the zine, along with storytelli­ng content curated by CHIME FOR CHANGE Managing Editor Mariane Pearl.
