Meet Gracie Abrams who could possibly be the next Lorde after being noticed by the Queen herself

GRACIE ABRAMS, a rather normal 21 year old based in Los Angeles who literally started from the bottom to being recognised by the one and only Lorde. Having started music when she was 8, she has evolved from posting short snippets of her singing in her mood-lit bedroom on Instagram and Soundcloud to now releasing her debut EP, Minor.

Abrams has always been one to keep a diary even at an early age, turning her emotions and thoughts by putting pen to paper. Her music is filled with deeply personal and sentimenta­l stories about love, life, and friendship­s. The perfect way to describe her music is probably warm and intimate. Her songwritin­g depicts every emotion one could possibly feel in their entire lifetime which may be the reason why the characters in her songs are so relatable and captivatin­g.

We recently spoke with Gracie to find out more about her career and the creation of her latest EP, Minor.

How did you get into music and songwritin­g?

As a kid, I was always paying attention to the music my parents were playing when they were driving me on the way to school or during the weekends at home. I have always paid attention to the lyrics themselves as they
