PATEK PHILIPPE
The split-seconds chronograph occupies a preferential position at Patek Philippe and the Ref 5370 was the manufacture’s first split-seconds chronograph ‒ launched in 2015 ‒ to be endowed with the in-house CHR 29-535 PS manual-wound movement with 65 hours of power reserve. The two-phase chronograph movement with two pushers for the chronograph functions and a rattrapante pusher integrated in the crown at 3 o’clock is an example of tradition meeting innovation. Then with a black enamel dial, this time around, it is reborn with a glossy blue grand feu enamel dial. The P in its reference number Ref 5370P-011 denotes that the watch case is made of platinum, at 41mm. As is the case with all Patek Philippe’s platinum wristwatches, this example is graced with a small Top Wesselton diamond between the lugs at 6 o’clock.
