This season, Armani taps chinese actor, singer and dancer Jackson Yee as their new global ambassador. To introduce the young star to the Armani community, a campaign featuring a 30-second video and a series of monochrome photographs were released to showcase Yee’s dynamic and fearless personality in their 2020 Fall/Winter collection. The campaign post on WeChat even included a quote from Giorgio Armani that says “Jackson Yee as actor, singer and dancer with his energetic spirit represents the young generation, which perfectly reflects the DNA of the Emporio Armani brand.” As one of the top A-lister celebrities in China with a fanbase of more than 85 million followers, the appointment is proof of the brand’s dedication to China’s market; which will surely expand awareness of the line among local shoppers and help the brand achieve long-term growth in the Asian market.
