Dior presents its latest footwear, the Atlas sandals

FOLLOWING THE UNVEILING of Dior’s Summer 2021 collection, the French luxury fashion house has announced the launch of their Atlas sandals ̶the new additions to their footwear line. The house’s senior shoe designer Thibo Denise has previously given the world a little sneak peak of the unreleased rope-like sandals on Instagram in early 2020, garnering an abundant amount of excitement even before it was released to the public. Designed by creative director Kim Jones, where he combines innovation and exceptional savoir-faire. The ropelike sandals combine elements of their Oblique monogram prints, high-quality leathers and suedes, and their delicate touch of openwork̶-reflecting on Dior’s expected level of luxury and their meticulous attention to detail. The slightly chunky sole is woven with rope while the sides are warped in mesh and as a final touch, these Japanese-inspired shoes are to be paired with matching Oblique socks from the house for the ultimate ultra-modern look. The sandals are available in three versions-̶black or beige suede, and black neoprene with khaki suede. AM
