AUGUSTMAN MALAYSIA EMBARKS ON A NEW JOURNEY BY UNVEILING THE 2021 A-LIST LINE-UP in association with
Having first begun in Malaysia in 2016, the A-List campaign is now in its sixth year, with a total of more than 60 A-Listers throughout the years. This annual list celebrates individuals who embody Augustman’s tenets of style, substance and success̶becoming exemplary role models for the men of Malaysia.
Introducing our newest addition to the A-List family:
Megat Rizal, an airplane pilot who has served 24 years with MAS and counting. He is also an avid cyclist, photographer and content creator par excellence.
Daniel Veerapen, a 33-year-old music producer, director and film scorer. Having worked on the score and music for various films, events and artists ‒ like Zainal
Abidin, M. Nasir, Vince Chong as well as our Men of the Year recipient, Ash Nair to name but a few.
Syafiq Mobin, an assistant manager who handles marketing, communication and corporate social responsibilities at a local bank. He is also the co-founder of Raudhatul Alfaeez Orphanage Home.
Imran Fauzi,
the world of a pharmaceuticals, man who dabbles he’s not also only a in model and is currently reading law.
Matthew Lim, an interior designer and a space narrator. He also started his own firm, ML Design.
Kingsley Tan, an expert in food science and a young entrepreneur who took over Laksamana Noodles which has been established in the market for over 45 years.
Daniel Woodroof, a race car driver who also manages his own digital marketing agency, Pandan Social and can be seen occasionally hosting on television alongside Alex Yoong.
Kalif Ismail, a marketing specialist with a passion for cycling. He enjoys everything it represents̶which is freedom, adventure, and an additional dimension that one is directing their own destiny.
Joel Lim, a dentist who finds joy in relieving toothaches, so much so that he started his own clinic̶called the JL Dental Clinic.
Daniel Lim, a fashion design graduate who then turned his eye towards building villas, also known as a purveyor of Apollo Dining.
Unlike the previous campaigns held, the 2021 A-Listers had a slightly muted one due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) ̶ though it was still packed with as much fun and excitement.
Partnering up with sponsors, we were able to kick off the campaign with a virtual launch̶where the A-List 2021 men bonded over a scrumptious meal prepared by Sofitel, a cup of rich and creamy whiskey provided by Chivas Regal and a brand new money clip gifted by Braun Buffel. Special thanks to our fellow A-Listers̶Ilyas from Sugar and I, and Peter Chin from Shiroku Production for supporting our cohort with a few gifts.
