THE MACALLAN M COPPER

The Macallan has released The Macallan M Copper, which is among a range of limited release single malt whiskies which celebrates the brand’s acclaimed Six Pillars. The Six Pillars are the foundation stones that account for The Macallan’s distinctive and exceptional whiskies and comprise Natural Colour, Mastery, Curiously Small Spirit Stills, The Estate, Exceptional Oak Casks and Sherry Seasoning. The M Copper launch at The Grey Box, GMBB, Kuala Lumpur saw the a endances of whisky novices and guests such as A-Lister Daniel Lim, entrepreneur Timothy Tiah and Aaron Chin, as well as restaurateur Jen Tang and Ken Ng.

M Copper is an ode to the Curiously Small Spirit Stills that remain key to cra ing The Macallan’s precious spirit to this day. It is one of the defining features of the distillation process that represent a pivotal moment in whisky-making history as when most moved to larger, higher production copper stills. Their distinctive shape and size help to concentrate the new make spirit, creating the rich, robust character.
