Tatler Dining Malaysia

WHY GO

-

Gourmet Cantonese cuisine prepared using traditional cooking methods with an emphasis on premium and fresh ingredients beckons diners to this contemporary restaurant.

Soups, being a staple of Cantonese cuisine, is a palatepleasing way to start. The diced fresh scallop and prawn bisque is wholesome with its thick, flavourful broth while the double-boiled ‘Tian Ma’ fish head soup is infused with Chinese herbs and bursting with sweetness and flavours.

The barbeque Spanish pork ribs are delicious with a nice sliver of fat in the middle enhancing its flavour. Fish lovers can choose from a good variety of sea-based or freshwater fish, with the giant grouper steamed in supreme soy sauce being a good choice for group diners.

Desserts-wise, an assortment of hot and chilled liquids makes for a delectable ending to the meal. Choose from doubleboiled hasma in soya milk with sago, chilled coconut pudding or chilled osmanthus cake.

Aside from the a la carte menu, the restaurant sees dim sum being served at lunch hours as well. Along with classic dim sum dishes, Grand Harbour has specialty dim sum unique only to them such as the swan-shaped crispy durian puff.
