WHY GO

-

A rustic and charming setting exudes a homely touch in which to savour authentic Italian cuisine; perfect for families, a date night or a casual gathering of friends.

A tantalising starter is the carpaccio di manzo in which meltin-your-mouth thinly sliced beef interplay beautifully with Maldon sea salt, a generous drizzle of olive oil, and shaved parmesan over fresh arugula. The insalata d’anttra Arancio features smoked duck slices, orange segments, caramelised onion, mixed green salad and cherry tomatoes, drizzled over with a mildly spicy anchovy dressing that gives a tinge of freshness to the dish.

The main course of risotto primavera is a delight with its bacon wrapped scallop coming off very moist due to the juiciness from the bacon. This in turn balances off with the perfectly cooked risotto, with additional flavours coming in the form of peas and asparagus.

As for the petto di manzo, the wood fired oven roasted beef ribs is bathed in a reduction of red wine sauce and sits atop a bed of mash. The ribs are cooked well and the meat so tender that it easily falls off the bone.
