Small plate eats and pintxos (light, bar snacks) are the highlights here, with bountiful choices – 13 each for tapas and pintxos, all unique and infused with Asian touches, like the salted egg crab bun. Runny, salted egg cream smother a patty of crab meat infused with salted egg and sandwiched between brioche buns will please local tastes. The Singapore chilli prawns come swimming in a creamy broth-like chilli sauce, with scrumptious and soft-middle mantou buns on hand to mop up the sweet and spicy chilli.
For mains, the miso cod is a beautifully plated and delicious choice. The cod is fresh, comes with a nice, sweet caramelised sear and goes very well with the accompanying piquant fruit salsa, diced pickled rose apple and miso-tinged butterscotch sauce.
The cinnamon-dusted churros (Spanish skinny donuts) are extremely crispy and a scrumptious bite with the dark chocolate sauce, making it a resoundingly crackling finale to the meal.
