Expatriate Lifestyle - Essentials Education - - Advertorial -

At elc we believe there is an excellent blend of East and West, it is not just a “temple to the West” but rather a combination of Western education delivered in an Asian style. Whilst there has been a prevailing trend towards liberalism in Schools, elc has retained its disciplined and ordered approach to education. Considerable effort is invested in ensuring the development of a work ethic. In addition, courtesy, concern for others and care of the environment are all actively encouraged whilst a very firm stand is taken against negative social behaviour. Students are guided and encouraged to be the best they can be in all their activities both in and out of the classroom. By deliberately keeping our school numbers manageable, we have maintained an excellent teacher/student ratio. As a result of this, all our students develop a confidence in themselves and their abilities. Consequently when they leave elc we believe they are equipped to face the responsibilities and challenges of the future, whist simultaneously creating opportunities for their own success. In educating our students for “life” we believe that they will progressively accept more responsibility for self-discipline, develop a healthy self-respect, contribute positively to the community, develop a life-long love of learning and strive for excellence at all times.
