Find out which designers are our Fashion Writer’s favourites from Asia’s biggest fashion event, Centrestage 2018!

It’s been three years running, yet Hong Kong’s CENTRESTAGE 2018 fair has only gotten bolder and better! As Asia’s premier fashion event under the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council (HKTDC), the four-day affair, which happened in September, was an experience I could never forget. Hosting over 230 brands from 22 countries across the globe, I found that the beauty of the event was the one-on-one connection that I was able to build with designers on the fairgrounds. The event focused on the theme of ‘Tomorrow Lab’, which featured three thematic zones: Metro, featuring casual, everyday wear; Iconic, showcasing contemporary chic designs; and Allure, where refined craftsmanship and avant-garde pieces were displayed. Although each designer or brand showcased exceptional pieces that complemented each of their zones, I’ve rounded up three designers who were able to cross those boundaries and represent all three themes.
