A JOURNEY UNFOLDED

Tearaway Unfolded to be Released for PS4 on September 8, 2015

GAX (Malaysia) - - NEWSWIRE -

Contrary to what most of you might be thinking, not all games require bucketloads of bloodshed and carnage in order for it to be captivating. Take the upcoming Tearaway Unfolded as an example – it’s a vibrant and lighthearted 3D-animated platformer that’s set in the papier-mâché town of Sogport, where players will be taking control of envelope-shaped messenger, Iota, or his female counterpart, Atoi. Their mission – as their envelope-shaped appearances would already suggest – is to deliver themselves to the intended recipients.

If you’re wondering why the game’s title is so oddly familiar, it’s because Tearaway Unfolded is actually the PS4 port of the original BAFTA award-winning game, Tearaway, which was released back in 2013 for the PS Vita. But don’t worry, the PS4 version of the game will have quite a number of improvements in tow, including a new control scheme, brand new areas, 60 fps gameplay, and of course – the ability to play the masterfully designed game in Full HD (1,920 x 1,080).

Not only that, players will also be able to use the PS4’s DualShock 4 controller to interact with the game as well. For example, by performing a perfectly-timed swipe on the DualShock 4’s touchpad, players will be able to cast ferocious gusts of wind to hold back enemies,

or manipulate the game’s environment by pointing the DualShock 4’s light bar towards the TV.

Tearaway Unfolded will be available for purchase in both physical and digital formats during its official launch day on September 8, 2015 for RM139 and RM125, respectively. PS Plus members, you’ll be given a 10-percent discount if you purchase the game between September 8 and 28.

On the other hand, players who pre-order the game between August 14 and September 5 will receive an adorable plush toy of the game’s male protagonist, Iota, as a special pre-order premium – while stocks last.
