RISE, LORD VADER

Limited Edition Darth Vader-Themed PS4 Bundles Announced for November

GAX (Malaysia) - - NEWSWIRE -

With the launch of Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars:

The Force Awakens fast approaching, it is genuinely only a matter of time before companies like Sony and Disney decided to capitalize on the momentum by releasing some form of product tie-in – which is where the two new Darth Vader-themed PS4 bundles comes in.

The first of the two bundles is the Star Wars Battlefront PS4 bundle, which as its name would already suggest, will come complete with a copy of the Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition, as well as a digital voucher that can be used to download four classic Star Wars titles: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. Of course, it goes without saying that the bundle will also come with the all- important Darth-Vader-themed PS4 console (CUH-1200 series), and a restyled DualShock 4 controller that has been designed after Darth Vader’s chest panel.

The second bundle is the

Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars PS4 bundle, which will be sold exclusively through Walmart. Inside, you’ll find the same Darth-Vader themed PS4 and DualShock controller as the Star Wars Battlefront bundle, but instead of being given a copy of Star Wars Battlefront, you’ll instead be receiving a physical copy of Disney

Infinity 3.0, the Disney Infinity Base, the Rise Against the Empire Play Set Pack (featuring Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa figures, as well the Rise Against the Empire Play Set piece), and the Boba Fett figure (a PS4 exclusive).

Whether these two bundles will arrive on our shores remains to be seen, but seeing that most of the limited edition PS4 bundles on the market are almost always made available locally, the outlook seems to be pretty good. Prices for both the bundles haven’t been announced as of yet, but as with all things ‘Limited Edition’, you can probably expect to pay slightly more for these Star Wars PS4 bundles than you would for a standard 500GB PS4 console.
