A firm believer in honing one’s craft, Yap enrolled in the prestigious A Cut Above Academy after amassing invaluable experience as a hairdresser. “Do not be afraid to learn because that will only improve you as a stylist, even if it’s just the basics.” Upon graduating, he served as a junior stylist in A Cut Above before expanding his horizons with a freelancing stint in Hong Kong. With such great talent and years of experience under his belt, Yap has since returned to lead the Restyle team at Sunway Pyramid.
