SEEING THE LIGHT

‘Seeing Through Light: Selections from the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Collection’ marks the grand pre-opening of the museum at Manarat Al Saadiya in the city’s Cultural District. For this, 19 works of art were accquired with the exception of two loaned works, all exploring the theme of light as an aesthetic in art. Five sections (Activated; Celestial; Perceptual; Reflected; and Transcendent) showcase light in all its magnificence. Until January 19. www.guggenheim.org
