Chanel Chance Eau Vive, a refreshing interpretation of the iconic Chance, was concocted by the house’s new nose Olivier Polge. Opening boldly with grapefruit and blood orange, this energetic cocktail is given a feminine finish with jasmine, cedar, and iris notes. As alluring as today’s most coveted styles, Polge’s delectable mix in Eau Vive heralds a new era at Chanel Fragrances.

When Azzedine Alaïa, iconic Parisian designer, decided to launch his very own scent after 40 years in fashion, he wanted to evoke the sensuality of naked skin. The black flacon of Alaïa Paris, with its golden cap resembling a tailor’s spool of thread, takes patterns from his iconic laser-cut and bodycon Houpette dress. Based off his childhood memories in Tunisia, the scent is brooding and nostalgic. An almost animalistic note intermingles with musk at the base, growing on one’s skin with striking elements of freesia, peony, and pink pepper.
MOST STYLISH SCENT
“My Burberry,” declares supermodel Kate Moss, as she, together with Cara Delevingne, mesmerise in the campaign for the new My Burberry scent. Both icons are dressed in, then undress from, the classic Burberry trenchcoat—the driving concept behind the fragrance. The cap of My Burberry recalls a button from the coat; it’s a nod to the British fashion house’s sense of tradition. Francis Kurkdjian led the project with Christopher Bailey, creating a perfume that is feminine and English, like London after the rain. Notes of sweet peas, geranium, and golden quince are underscored by patchouli and bergamot.
