Crafts room doilies got a ’60s twist by way of raised hemlines, reminiscent of the maison’s first ready-to-wear line, Miss Dior. Fun fact: the collection revolved around a photograph of young women protesting outside a Dior boutique, simply because there weren’t enough miniskirts, inside. On the runway, risqué cuts were worn with hippie shearling coats, checkered jackets, and knee-high boots.
