“I get cold very easily,” explains Amanda, who rocks up to BAZAAR’s cocktail session with Bvlgari in a bright yellow Fendi jumper and knee-high boots. A look quite unlike those in attendance—think Jenny from the Block meets Jessica Rabbit. It’s a look only the 27-year-old could pull off, judging from her warm girl-nextdoor sensibilities. And it is this same persona that catapulted her into superstardom as a host on Astro SuperSport, despite it being a maledominated industry. But Amanda walks and talks the part. “For me, comfort is always key. Two years ago, I converted from four-inch heels to sneakers, and I’ve never looked back.”
