It was a dark affair, shrouded in mysterious shades from midnight to noir, as one by one, 15 of Harper’s BAZAAR Malaysia’s Most Stylish Women 2018 made their way to The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur. The scene in The Library: Shalma Ainaa in a Khoon Hooi Autumn/Winter ’18 look, Puteri Zaharudin-Varricchio in her sleek modern-day tux, and Natasha Kraal channelling a reallife Maleficent in a Bernard Chandran cape. Here, they gathered, striking poses before flashing lights, and making their way around the room, a pure black fantasy brought to life. Taking place on the last night of the BAZAAR Hotel Takeover, after two days of shooting and filming, the ladies let their hair down, and as the drinks kept pouring, a game of Secrets and Dreams brought scintillating conversations and confessions across the room, laughter and gasps abound.
