One of the most pop­u­lar fruits around, the strawberry is usu­ally as­so­ci­ated with all things sweet and sug­ary. But, in­ter­est­ingly, their tart­ness ac­tu­ally makes them com­pat­i­ble with savoury dishes (think: strawberry vinai­grette) while giv­ing a boost of nu­tri­ents. Our favourite way to con­sume them, though, is by pop­ping very thin slices into the oven to bake and dry out – you’ll end up with a lovely bag of crispy yet healthy chips.
