SIU THENG: WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BE­COME AN AC­TRESS?

In­tan Serah: “I like singing, a lot, and I’ve made a few videos that in­volved act­ing. So why not try it for real!”

ST: ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR PER­FOR­MANCE IN THE MOVIE?

IS: “I’m happy. It was a bit tir­ing but I got to learn a lot from this ex­pe­ri­ence.”

ST: WHAT PROJECTS ARE YOU DY­ING TO WORK ON IN THE FU­TURE?

IS: “I look for­ward to act­ing as some­one who is dif­fer­ent from me, per­son­al­ity-wise. And I wish to work with other great di­rec­tors, so I can learn from ev­ery­one in the in­dus­try.”

ST: DOES THIS CHAR­AC­TER RE­SEM­BLE YOU?

IS: “Very much, as Fifi also plays fut­sal. But she is a bit more girl­ish than I am [laughs].

ST: WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THIS CHAR­AC­TER?

IS: “She’s al­ways cheer­ful and very much like me in some ways. #ilove­fifi”

ST: WHAT DO YOU HATE ABOUT HER?

IS: “I hate the fact that she has a bro­ken fam­ily.”

ST: WHAT WAS YOUR BIG­GEST CHAL­LENGE WHEN TAK­ING ON THIS ROLE?

IS: “It was my first time act­ing in a movie and I needed to adapt quickly dur­ing shoots. Also, hav­ing to make some eye con­tact and sync with Momok.”

ST: WHAT DID YOU DO WHEN YOU FELT UPSET ON SET?

IS: “I stayed pa­tient and didn’t let my feel­ings af­fect me. But, I’m never upset on set [laughs]! #fi­fi­isverycheer­ful”

ST: WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU’D KNOWN BE­FORE AC­CEPT­ING THIS ROLE?

IS: “I guess that would be the long film­ing hours, which I didn’t see com­ing. Be­cause of that, I strug­gled be­tween jug­gling my film­ing sched­ule and fut­sal train­ing.”

ST: WHY DO YOU THINK SO MANY ASPIR­ING AC­TORS END UP GIV­ING UP ON THEIR DREAM?

IS: “I think most of them de­cided to fo­cus on their fam­ily, as act­ing takes up a lot of your time.”
