Here’s a solution ladies will appreciate. Combining the complementary functions of washing-up in the bathroom and putting on makeup at the vanity counter is Thai design firm Thinkk Studio’s Lavanity (Lavatory + Vanity), which combines the “dry space” of the vanity with the “wet space” of the washbasin area. Lavanity was presented at the Another Perspective exhibition curated by sanitaryware manufacturer Cotto, during Milan Design Week. The studio developed this ingenious idea after observing the real-life routines of women who have to switch between the two areas constantly.
