Home & Decor (Malaysia) - - EDITOR’S NOTE - EMMELYN CINDY MAH EDITOR

It’s true what they say about growing older: time passes a lot faster when you pass 25, and absolutely flies once you hit the big three-o! It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the first issue of 2018, and here we are in a brave new world, ready to face the dawn of 2019. What new design sensibilities await us? We can only look forward, ever curious and rife with excitement. And what a year it’s going to be.

To that end, we’ve asked some of our favourite brands for their thoughts on upcoming trends. For who better to tell us what’s in vogue than those of the industry themselves? Turn to page 38 to find out what they have to say!

2019 also marks a very special milestone: we are now exactly twelve months to the year 2020. As someone who grew up hearing the words Vision 2020 bandied about like one of today’s biggest buzzwords, I’ll admit I’m excited. And, just as our country continues to progress forward, so too must we, as her citizens, strive to improve ourselves! Check out our list of 10 New Years’ Resolutions to Not Make on page 50, and sink your teeth into a much better way to be a better version of you. Incidentally, a better version of you also includes a better version of your home, so turn to page 44 for our spring cleaning guide!

As always, we have a selection of homes and recipes to inspire your aesthetics and tastes. We hope you’ll enjoy them, as well as the coming year ahead.

Have a blessed January, friends, and here’s to a wonderful 2019!
