Home & Decor (Malaysia) - - HOME IMPROVEMENT -

Just in time for the revelry of New Year’s, Malaysia’s biggest furniture and home decor convention HOMEDEC returns. Spread out over two parts; HOMEDEC PART I: Design & Renovate from 25th28th October 2018, and HOMEDEC PART II: Furnish & Decorate from 1st – 4th November 2018, the show is slated to offer plenty of deals, as well as fun contests for those seeking to dress their homes!

The theme of the year: “Fashion for your home”, and what a Fashion Week it’ll be! With aesthetics and enhancements for your personal space in full display at the show, visitors will be thrilled and enthralled with trendy designs, innovative ideas, and the latest concepts in home furnishings and renovations.

In addition to the arsenal of amazing designs and furnishings up for grabs, HOMEDEC organisers C.I.S. Network Sdn Bhd (C.I.S) are also rolling out a special feature on Home Safety and Security. Says C.I.S President Dato Vincent, “Home Safety and Security is paramount to every home owner and should never be ignored. The home is where we live and build our families, so keeping the property safe is an absolute top priority.”

This ties in to the general public perception of home security being limited to burglar-proofing with the latest technology and devices. However, what C.I.S aims to do this time around, is to showcase the various other aspects that go into protecting your home – from very real dangers like fire and gas leaks, to other dangers like toxic fumes and flooring options.

Following up immediately after, HOMEDEC Part II will feature home furnishings and decorations, as well as a Showhome Showcase featuring New-Gen homes and studio living. The second REKA Interiors Exhibition (RiX) will also be happening concurrently, and will include an exhibition of the finest interior designers, networking sessions through the REKA Conference, networking parties, the RIDA Awards, a Young Designers’ Workshop, and nine masterpiece design installations in partnership with exhibitors.
