Chef David Caral is making the most delicious waves in Kuala Lumpur! A Native of Barcelona, Spain, the good chef is known as the only chef locally to provide authentic Spanish Cuisine under the banner of Mercat Barcelona Gastrobar. With experience a-plenty underbelt, Chef David has worked with Michelin-starred chefs the likes of Sergi Arola (of LAB) and Nobu Matsuhisa (of Nobu), and worldrenowned establishments Ritz Carlton, Sheraton, and Harrod’s to name a few.
Mercat Barcelona Gastrobar is Chef David’s bid at a dynamic and convivial dining scene reminiscent of tapas bars in the thriving Barcelona surrounds. His cuisine is inspired by traditional recipes, approached with a contemporary twist while never losing sight of Catalan culture and history.
