Johan Indot
As the co-founder of Bioven, Johan Indot is extremely passionate about the company’s vision and commitment to developing cancer vaccines. With over 25 years of experience in business and investments in the oil and gas industry, Johan is currently the executive director of Bioven Group as well as Inoilco Safety Consultant Sdn Bhd. Besides that, he has also played a big part in the establishment of Bioven in the UK and Europe. This loving father is married to Bianca Lind.
Dato’ Liaw Choon Liang
President cum CEO of Focus Point Holdings Bhd, Dato’ Liaw is also the CEO of Multiple Rewards Sdn Bhd, a company which owns the exquisite Minori Japanese Restaurant, Inaho Sushi, Baum and Komugi bakery and cafe. He is married to Datin Joyce Goh and is the recipient of the Master Award in Lifestyle by McMillan Woods Global Awards. When he is not busy with his CEO duties, he enjoys collecting unique spectacles and sunglasses.
Monica Lai
As group executive director of Ireka Corporation Berhad, Monica Lai oversees the company’s strategies, corporate finance, corporate secretarial and finance and accounting matters. Today, the company is involved in three core businesses: infrastructure, real estate and technologies. Currently, one of Ireka’s ongoing projects include The RuMa Hotel and Residences located at Jalan Kia Peng. During her spare time, she enjoys catching up with her girlfriends.
Dato’ Raymond Liew
This chartered accountant is the president and managing partner of McMillan Woods, an independent member firm of McMillan Woods Global. He holds a masters degree from Henley Management College, United Kingdom and has many years of extensive work experience with professional firms and multinational companies. Married to Dato’ Kok Yul Shin, this father of one is also a certified financial planner and a member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia.
Lai Voon Hon
Lai Voon Hon is the CEO of Ireka Development Management Sdn Bhd. He has won a number of awards including the BrandLaureate Great Entrepreneur Brand ICON Leadership Award in the past. A creative and optimistic person, he started off his career as an architect in London followed by Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. He is married to Lisa Lai with whom he has three children. He enjoys the arts, travelling and playing golf in his spare time.
Datuk Jared Lim
Datuk Jared Lim is the joint managing partner and co-founder of Tremendous Asia Partners, an alternative asset investment and management group focused on opportunities primarily in the consumer sector in the Southeast Asia region. The former investment banker has 18 years of financial experience under his belt and has also ventured into various industries such as F&B, education and wellness. He holds a first class Masters of Finance and is married to Datin Dian Lee.
Dato’ Wira James Lee
Dato’ Wira James Lee is the CEO and managing director of United U-Li Corporation Bhd, an investment holding company with seven wholly-owned subsidiaries actively involved in the manufacturing and trading of cable support systems, building materials, and more. With more than 20 years of working experience in the electrical industry, his responsibilities include overseeing the company’s overall business development and strategic planning.
Datuk Lim Hong Tat
After receiving a scholarship from Maybank, Datuk Lim Hong Tat began his career by joining the bank upon graduation. Today, he is the head of community financial services of Maybank Group and CEO of Maybank Singapore, making him responsible for driving and implementing the bank’s community banking strategy across all geographies. He was recently named the ‘Retail Banker of the Year 2014’ by The Asian Banker at an award ceremony held in Sydney.
