This for­mer Malaysian ten­nis cham­pion and pro­fes­sional ac­coun­tant turned en­tre­pre­neur is the founder and owner of the restau­rant chain Madam Kwan’s. Datuk Seri FD Iskan­dar

A man who wears many hats, Datuk Seri FD Iskan­dar holds vi­tal po­si­tions that con­trib­ute to Malaysia’s di­ver­si­fied ven­tures, such as group man­ag­ing di­rec­tor and chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer at Glo­mac, chair­man of Vads, di­rec­tor of Telekom Malaysia, pres­i­dent of Re­hda and chair­man of BIPC.

Dato’ Si­mon Foong

The man be­hind The Body Shop and Aquaria KLCC, plus Malaysia Tatler’s Di­a­mond of Ex­cel­lence awardee, plans on ex­plor­ing an IPO for Aquaria in 2020. Cur­rently in the works for him is the sec­ond out­let of Aquaria in Phuket, Thai­land, which is ex­pected to be op­er­a­tional by the first quar­ter of 2019.

Tan Sri Tony Fer­nan­des

The main fig­ure be­hind AirAsia, Tan Sri Tony has re­ceived many in­ter­na­tional and in­dus­try awards plus ac­co­lades within the avi­a­tion in­dus­try and be­yond, such as the ti­tle Com­man­der of the Le­gion d’Hon­neur by France, and Com­man­der of the Or­der of the British Em­pire by Her Majesty Queen El­iz­a­beth II.

Raja Fuad Muam­mar

Armed with a vi­sion to cre­ate the most ex­cep­tional homes in the world, Raja Fuad set up Pre­sidio and Grup­pen­houz, which of­fer clients flex­i­ble prop­erty de­vel­op­ment man­age­ment, con­struc­tion, in­te­rior ar­chi­tec­ture and de­sign ser­vices. He is mar­ried to Shireen Kan­diah, with whom he has two sons.

Min­con­sult’s ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor and founder of Time­less Green Group of com­pa­nies has also served as the hon­orary sec­re­tary gen­eral of The Road En­gi­neer­ing As­so­ci­a­tion of Asia and Aus­tralia, and is a fel­low of the In­sti­tu­tion of Civil Engi­neers UK and Malaysia as well as the In­sti­tu­tion of High­ways and Trans­porta­tion.

Datuk Ruben Gnanalingam

Slated to take over the ex­pan­sion of West­ports Malaysia, CEO Datuk Ruben is pas­sion­ate about sports as well as cod­ing—a pro­ject he shares with his son. He is also co-chair­man of the Queens Park Rangers and the vice pres­i­dent of the Malaysia Bas­ket­ball As­so­ci­a­tion.

Cul­tural en­tre­pre­neur and art ad­vi­sor Datin Shalini is founder of the epony­mous Shalini Ga­nen­dra Fine Art Ad­vi­sory. The qual­i­fied lawyer was also ap­pointed to the Tate Gallery Ac­qui­si­tions Com­mit­tee, and served on pan­els for the Sov­er­eign Art Prize, and the Com­mon­wealth In­ter­na­tional Artists Res­i­den­cies.

Puan Sri Siew Yong is cur­rently the in­ter­na­tional con­ven­tion chair for the Sorop­ti­mist In­ter­na­tional Con­ven­tion, KL 2019.
