WHAT YOU’RE IN FOR: This treatment is a tribute to the unique Peranakan culture derived from the marriage of Malay and Chinese cultures centuries ago, which created a mingling of both these traditions. It begins with a milk nectar meditation to calm the nerves, followed by a pearl and rice facial. Often used by Chinese empresses in the Imperial courts, these two ingredients have the ability to lighten the skin and protect it from the harsh rays of the sun. The facial also includes the traditional egg undulation and Mulberry leaf eye treatment. During the egg undulation face treatment, warm-shelled hardboiled eggs are gently rolled around the face to expel toxins and heat. A moxa naval activation treatment is then performed to improve metabolism, ease digestion and reduce jetlag. Next is the rattan tapping qi-gong technique used to rhythmically tap meridian lines to boost your immunity.
