WHAT YOU’RE IN FOR: The Mahsuri & Darus Romance package begins with a 60-minute Luxury Kese treatment, which includes a traditional Turkish Hamam bath with kese scrub, olive soap cleanser, a vigorous massage, and continuous flow of warm water from a copper bowl over your body, for a complete skin renewal. The term ‘Kese’ is Turkish for exfoliating glove and it is used to remove dead skin cells from the skin. Embracing physical and spiritual purification, the Hamam is a place where people would visit to rid the body of toxins and open the pores in readiness for traditional cleansing using steam and heat. Toxins such as salt, alcohol, nicotine, cholesterol and heavy metals are expelled as the body heats up in the Turkish bath, leaving you fresh and rejuvenated. The Luxury Kese treatment is followed by a Malay traditional massage to ease sore muscles. The unique experience comes to an end with a relaxing herbal bath prepared with lemongrass, ginger, turmeric and kafir lime leaves.
