Malaysia Tatler Wedding

My dearest wife Syanas Yasmen,

-

I write this letter with much love and fondness for you, my one and only stunning wife. I wish your day be enlightened with the brightest sun forever and may its rays tell you that I am at all times there for you. My loving wife Syanas, you raise my soul every time I think of you. You are my sunrise and shining star!

As the days go by, our love is inscribed into the fabrics of our deoxyribonucleic acid. It’s funny, rather surprising and amazing how the past few months of marriage, falling short of just a year, have brought me closer to you than the last decade of our courtship. Today, I truly understand what being a family is all about.

I see you more than just the beautiful girl I met in Sri Cempaka, rather you are my best friend, my partner in crime, my solace, my today and my tomorrow.

Sometimes I ask myself, what is a marriage? And more often than not, the tune that rings in me is that marriage is knowing and showing and mutually growing, it’s enduring, confessing and nightly undressing, it’s liking, respecting and calmly accepting, it’s comfort when weeping, snuggling and sleeping, but most of all, it’s lives interweaving and always believing.

I want you to know that I’ll always stand by your side and treat you right, as the Queen that you are. Although nothing is assured in life, let me take this chance to give you this assurance. My love for you will never fade even in the coldest winter, my heart will soar for you like the brightest summer, and even when the seasons change, and our grey matter fades, you’ll always be my forever lover. May Allah always shine His light on us, guide us and nourish us. And I pray He blesses us with beautiful children in the future, because I know that you would be an amazing madre. Yours truly, Your ever-crazy, unpredictable husband, Sheikh Imran
